Provolt Provolt is a Brazilian company founded in 1988. It is located in Blumenau, state of Santa Catarina.
Initially, Provolt performed project outsourcing work for its clients. In 1990 it started to develop its own products, such as frequency inverters, UPS and voltage stabilizers.

- Projetech was founded by Dieter Claus Pfuetzenreiter in Blumenau/SC. Initially, performed outsourcing of electronic projects and printed circuits to industries that were nationalizing equipment. The frequency inverters were already in the testing stage.
- The beginnig of the development of it's own products: sale of the first frequency inverter, UPS and voltage stabilizers project. These two in the PC boom, a novelty at the time. Tens of thousands of equipment were sold, many still in operation after more than 20 years
- Entry of the partner Mauro Celso Alvise
- Provolt entered the naval market with the rectifiers/chargers supplied to the Brazilian Navy in Ladário/MS, an important milestone in the company's history. It was the first supply to a public company and a military
- Development of the Charger for trational batteries model CBP
- Brand and logo creation "Provolt"
- New supply to the Brazilian Navy for NAPAs Patrol Ships: rectifiers/chargers and the first 400Hz converter, equipment used only by military forces and aeronautics
- Construction of its own head office with 100m² and a year later was expanded to 200m²
- Implementation of the D'Olho na Qualidade program, by SEBRAE
- Implementation of the 5S program.
- First supply to Petrobras in Mossoró/RN: a 2kVA static inverter
- Development of the first Rectifier/Charger
- Expansion of the head office to 600m²
- Supply of 24 60Hz and 400Hz CC converters for 6 Aratu class sweeper ships of the Brazilian Navy
- A new range of equipment was developed for the GTD sector, including static inverters for alternative power generation sources, when we sold a few hundred units applied to solar power systems
- Design and production of the first light and navigation panels and alarm announcers for the Naval sector
- Gustav Salinger Award – winner in the industry category (ACIB)
- Expansion of the head office to 900m²
- Obtaining the first ISO 9001 certification by DNV
- U.S. import of automated SMT assembly equipment (SMD components), fourth company of the state to own this technology
